COVID-19 UPDATE

Dear Patients,

New York State is changing their COVID-19 mask mandate as of Sunday, February 12, 2023. (https://health.ny.gov/professionals/hospital_administrator/letters/2023/docs/dal_23-02.pdf). NYS will permit healthcare providers and facilities to have their own masking requirements as of Sunday.

We know for many of you this will be welcome news, while for others it will be concerning. We would like to share with you how our office will be handling masking as of Monday, February 13th.

  1. Masks will not be required in treatment rooms for the doctors & clinical staff.
  2. Masks will be optional for patients and visitors.
  3. Masks will be optional for the doctors and team at the front desk and in our office hallways.
  4. To keep our staff and patients healthy, If you are experiencing symptoms (https://www.health.ny.gov/diseases/communicable/respiratory_syncytial_virus/understanding.htm) or were exposed to COVID -19, please call our office to reschedule your appointment.

We appreciate that some of our patients have concerns about being in the office around people who are not masked. We ask that you call our office at 212-750-7121 the morning of your appointment to let us know about your concern. We will do our very best to either seat you in a treatment room or find an alternative area for you to wait.

As always, please speak with us about any concerns you have.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

In Good Health,

Bruce P. Robinson, M.D.
